In 2005, we engaged a well-respected third party, Readex Research, to do an extensive survey of Repertoire. Our goal was to secure a formal and repeatable assessment of our performance that would allow us to formulate our strategy and content ideas, as well as to allow us to formally benchmark ourselves year over year to ensure that we are meeting the needs of our readers. The results were most encouraging. Here are the highlights:

  • 71% of Repertoire readers take action as a result of reading ads in Repertoire
  • 91% of Repertoire readers take action as a result of reading an article/column in Repertoire
  • 76% rated Repertoire as helping them in their jobs
  • 81% rated Repertoire as providing timely industry content
  • 58% of Repertoire readers save copies for future reference
  • 80% spend a half an hour or more reading Repertoire
