Industry in Pictures: HMMC PaintFest
The Healthcare Manufacturing Management Council (HMMC) recently participated in a fun-filled teambuilding and networking event for charity – a PaintFest – at its Fall Education Conference in Chicago. After dinner at the conference, all the attendees sat down at tables and “painted by color” small panels of artwork that when placed together made huge murals that were donated to a hospital. For decades, the Foundation for Hospital Art has worked with major sporting organizations worldwide, bringing fans and athletes together for the cause of art. Super Bowls, Olympics, golf tournaments, soldiers, and organizations like HMMC have hosted PaintFests. The Foundation for Hospital Art reaches out to people in hospitals, bringing art and beauty into cold and sterile hallways. PaintFest murals are in hospitals all over the world and soon the paintings from the HMMC Fall Conference will grace a hospital here in the United States.
