In November we asked: Who was the first president to receive the Medal of Honor, and when did he receive it?
Answer: President Theodore Roosevelt, for leading a charge up San Juan Hill as a lieutenant colonel during the Spanish American War. He received the medal posthumously on January 16, 2001.
