New ShotBlocker Design From Bionix

ShotBlocker has been redesigned to accommodate both intramuscular and subcutaneous injections. ShotBlocker is a flexible, plastic device that features a number of blunt skin contact points on its underside and a centrally located opening through which injections can be administered. ShotBlocker safely – and with no side effects – blocks the pain of minor injections, such as insulin and immunizations, without the use of chemical refrigerant sprays or drug based creams. ShotBlocker is the invention of James Huttner, M.D., Ph.D., a practicing pediatrician and co-founder of Bionix.

SPSmedical’s PassPortPlus

SPSmedical’s PassPortPlus is certified for use with steam, chemical vapor, EtO and dry heat sterilizers. This is particularly significant to offices that get failed test results and have to re-test, and then wait for confirmation prior to using the sterilizer again.
