Consorta Names Jacob Groenewold to VP



Jacob J. Groenewold was named Vice President and Corporate Officer for Consorta Inc. He will work directly with Consorta Shareholders to develop programs for increased contract utilization and compliance within their organizations.



Groenewold comes to Consorta from Premier, Inc., where he was vice president, supply chain partnerships for the past 5 years. Prior to his GPO experience, Groenewold was a division vice president with Owens & Minor, Inc., a medical supply distribution company.



Groenewold also brings significant, related experience gained during his tenure as a corporate officer within the Lutheran General Health Systems, Park Ridge, IL, where he created systems to monitor and manage supply consumption.



Groenewold has twenty years of progressive leadership experience and accomplishment in the healthcare industry, with a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Economics, Calvin College, Grand Rapids, MI, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from DePaul University, Chicago, IL.



Miltex Names Bielan as CFO



Tom Bielan was named as Chief Financial Officer for both Miltex Inc's surgical and dental divisions. He was previously President of K-Medic Company.



Vital Signs Names CFO/Executive VP



Vital Signs Inc. appointed Frederick S. Schiff to the position of Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer. Schiff was previously Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer at Bristol-Myers Squibb.





Uroplasty Appoints Vice President of Manufacturing



Uroplasty, Inc. promoted Marc Herregraven as its Vice President of Manufacturing, responsible for all product manufacturing including engineering and quality assurance. Herregraven has been with the Company since 1994, most recently as Director of Operations. Previously heserved with Advanced Bio-Surfaces Inc., a Minnesota-based medical device developer as Director of Manufacturing, and with Bio-Vascular, Inc., a Minnesota-based medical device manufacturer, in an engineering function.



Herregraven earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in The Netherlands and has been a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) since 1996.
