Carleen Burgess Named National Sales Manager for ESP
Carleen Burgess has been named National Sales Manager for ESP (Extra Skin Protection), announced Dann Schwartz, President and CEO. Formerly the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Flanagan MedSurg Distributors, Inc., Mrs. Burgess brings over 20 years of management experience to ESP. As National Sales Manager, Burgess will be responsible for the nationwide launch of ESP's new skin care products, including its most innovative product, Chimal Skin Shield. Burgess will concentrate on marketing to the medical industry.

Chester Labs Announces Promotions
Chester Labs announces the recent promotion of Stuart Hyde to V.P. of Marketing and Jack Armstrong to V.P. of Sales. Hyde has over 15 years of healthcare experience with Chester Labs. Hyde was formerly Director of Industrial Sales; his new position will focus on increasing industry awareness of Chester Labs and its products. Armstrong has over 10 years sales experience in medical distribution and manufacturing. Armstrong was formerly Northern Region Director of Sales; his new focus will be managing the Chester Labs healthcare sales initiative. In addition to the sales promotions Janine Madonia has been appointed to the position of Contract Administrator.

Elliot Joins Quidel Corp. As Evecutive VP
Quidel Corp. announced that Bill Elliott has joined the Company in the newly created, officer-level position of executive vice president.

Elliott brings to Quidel more than 25 years of healthcare-related senior management experience. Prior to joining Quidel, Elliott was chairman, president and CEO of Embion, Inc., a development stage healthcare e-commerce company that provides procurement automation to physicians' groups, surgery centers and nursing homes. Before Embion, Inc., he was president of Bergen Brunswig Medical Corp., and president of IntePlex™, which serves as Bergen's resource for information technology development and logistics services. Elliott was one of four senior officers to serve in the Office of the President for this Fortune 200 company, with accountability for Bergen Brunswig Corp.'s overall performance.

Elliott spent nearly 13 years at VHA, Inc. where he served as chief executive for their group purchasing organization, after initially leading their information technology and managed care programs. Prior to joining VHA, Elliott served in senior management positions in healthcare provider systems in IL, AL and OH. n
