NDC University Graduates 41 Sales Rookies

Nashville, TN --The 2Q NDC University event was held June 27 - 29, 2001 in Nashville, TN. Forty-one distributor sales personnel with various experience levels were in attendance, coming from over 25 independent medical and dental distributors. Several students were from Canada.

Cindy Juhas, President of StarLine member Hospital Associates, Anaheim, CA presented the core of the sales training program: The ABC's of Sales, and Creating a Sales Business Plan. Harvey Arnott, VP of Marketing for NDC shared his insights on Territory Management and Private Label Sales. 3M sponsored a motivational speaker who outlined time management skills pursuing sales goals. Interactive Round Table discussions focused on Long-Term Care, Primary Care and Dental market groups, competition, reimbursement, and many other topics.

The many vendors who were in attendance had key one-on-one time with the rookie sales reps. Every vendor sponsored a student who made a product presentation on the final day. All students were treated to a tour of the over 100,000 square feet NDC Warehouse.

NDC University's next Rookie Class will be held November 28 - 30, 2001 in Nashville, TN.
